Changes… Bye YouTube, Hello Facebook

So, on Sunday, November 29, 2020 I learned that YouTube has changed its terms of service. Starting on December 1 YouTube will require channels to have at least 1,000 subscribers in order to stream live on its platform from mobile devices. The way that we stream counts, technically, as mobile streaming and we do not and will not have anywhere near 1,000 subscribers.

Therefore, effective immediately, our live streams of worship will be on our Facebook page. However, we will still upload edited worship services to our YouTube channel. This includes, most of the time, Saturday evening worship, which is usually pre-recorded.

So, if you want to watch our Saturday worship, you can keep doing what you have been doing since the beginning of this wonderful time. For Sunday worship, if you want to watch live you will need to go to our Facebook page. But if you watch later on, you can still watch on YouTube or Facebook.

Sorry for the changes, but as we have learned and relearned this year, sometimes change happens even if we don’t want it to.
