The readings for the Sixth Sunday after the Epiphany:  Deuteronomy 30:15-20; Psalm 119:1-8; 1 Corinthians 3:1-9; Matthew 5:21-37

Fr. Stephen Day will preside and preach Sunday with Holy Eucharist at 10:00am.  Many thanks to George Kimmet for serving as Lay Reader, and to Carol Pickard for performing the Altar Guild duties.

As you know, Fr. Stephen has started his part-time ministry with us as of February 1.  He will be offering Holy Eucharist three Sundays a month, which will be scheduled and announced, with a Lay Minister offering Morning Prayer on the fourth Sunday.  Fr. Stephen’s office hours will be Monday and Tuesday mornings.  Please feel free to speak with Fr. Stephen if you have any questions.

If you would like a home visit from Fr. Stephen and/or our Lay Eucharistic Ministers (George & Steve), please contact the office to arrange an appointment.

St. Luke’s has invited us to attend their Shrove Tuesday New Orleans’ style dinner February 21 at 6:00pm.

Ash Wednesday worship will be held February 22 at 12:00 noon.

Vestry meets Wednesday, February 22 at 6:00pm.

United Campus Ministry is sponsoring a family friendly comedy show that will entertain and educate re:  autism.  Michael McCreary, an autistic comedian, will perform Wednesday, March 29 at 7:00pm at the Petro Theater at MSUB.  The show is open and free to the public.  Please contact dwelch@msubilling.edu to RSVP.
